So I decided to begin blogging after reading a fortune cookie message that for some reason inspired me to write. Now, you have to know that I've debated starting a blog for YEARS but the following thoughts always deterred me...
- I have nothing to write about
- I'm not really the best writer
- I'm so indecisive what will I name my blog
Sigh, that last point was probably the biggest hurdle. But back to the point. The fortune cookie changed all of that. It inspired me to put pen to paper - errrr - fingers to keyboard and begin this whole journey once and for all.
And do you know what the fortune cookie said? Well, right before I wrote this post I looked for said message and could not find it. Anywhere!!!! Aaaaaand that right there is a very typical occurrence in my life! Sorry to build the momentum only to disappoint you. It said something or other about writing and how you need to have clarity of thoughts in order to write, lol. I swear the message was really good and once I find it, I will post it and it will enlighten you as well!
Perhaps it should have said that to begin writing you should have a clean house! Yeah, that would have made so much more sense. Oh well. Such is life right?
